With summer on its way out and the crisp autumn months on their way in, what better way to get adjusted than with a little sample of Tim Burton's latest movie?

Up next for Burton is "Frankenweenie," a stop-motion animated adventure that plays off the classic "Frankenstein." The film follows Vincent Frankenstein, a young boy with a knack for science. But, instead of resurrecting a monster, Vincent works his magic on his departed pooch, Sparky.

In a new clip, which you can watch above, Vincent is confronted with the first of his soon-to-be-many problems with raising the dead: tattletales!

"Frankenweenie" hits theatres October 5.
