"Star Wars: Episode VII" is still looking for its stars, and now, sources are saying there's a new juicy lead role up for grabs.

The Hollywood Reporter writes that producers are now looking for "a 40-something military man a la Matt Damon in 'Elysium,'" based on potential changes to the script brought about by the recent screenwriter shakeup that saw original writer Michael Arndt depart the project and director J.J. Abrams and consultant Lawrence Kasdan take over script duties.

In addition to that new role, producers are still searching for the "tough-cookie girl in the 17- to 18-year-old range and a charismatic, funny guy from 19 to 23" roles that were previously rumored, THR writes.

U.K. casting agent Kate Bone previously told the BBC that filmmakers "don't want to leave any stone unturned," which has led to several open casting calls in the United Kingdom, the U.S., and Australia. Looks like the production is serious about scouring the globe for the right people to join the "Star Wars" galaxy.

Pre-production at London's Pinewood studios has already commenced. "Star Wars: Episode VII" will hit theaters December 18, 2015.
