Every actor probably dreams of this: legendary director Steven Spielberg (or one of his "people") calling you up on the phone and asking you to come personally audition. This actually happened to Charlotte Le Bon, the French-Canadian star of "The Hundred-Foot Journey," which co-stars Helen Mirren.
Needless to say, she got the part in this charming story of food and family. As you'll find out when you watch the interview (above), it had nothing to do with Le Bon's cooking skills (or lack thereof). Moviefone Canada spoke to her about being in the kitchen, whether she learned anything useful, and how it felt to be called on specifically by one of Hollywood's major players.
"The Hundred-Foot Journey" opens in theatres on August 8.
