By now, there is an infinite number of The Hunger Games reviews making the rounds. Surely a franchise so calculated can't be good, right? Wrong. In a nutshell: The Hunger Games isn't a sublime opus by any stretch of the imagination, but there is an intangible quality to the movie that makes you want to root for it.
